How To Update the Slickstream Plugin

Below are instructions on how to update the Slickstream plugin to the latest version.

There are two options to make sure that you are on the latest version of the Slickstream plugin:

1. Delete the existing plugin and reinstall (recommended if installing from 2.0.x ➜ latest version)
2. Update from the prompt on the Plugins page (recommended if installing from 1.4.x ➜ latest version)

Option 1: Delete and Reinstall

1. Log in to your WordPress account and navigate to the Plugins page.
2. Find the "Slickstream Search and Engagement" plugin and deactivate, then delete it.
   
    
3. Click on Add New Plugin
   
4. Search for "slickstream" in the Keyword field. Click on the "Install Now" button.
5. Click Activate.
   

Option 2: Update from the Plugins Page

1. Login to your WordPress account and navigate to the Plugins page.
2. Locate the "Slickstream Search and Engagement" Plugin from the list. There should be a message that says, "There is a new version of Slickstream..."
3. Click on the "update now" link.
   
4. Refresh the Plugins page. If there is an "Activate" link under the plugin, click to activate it.
      (In most cases, this will happen automatically)

5. Please clear any site caches and navigate to your website to ensure that Slickstream is still displaying and operating as intended.
