If you see a note on one of your invoices that shows a credit because of an adjustment based on pageview auditing, you might be wondering what that's about.

We charge you based on the total pageviews on your site. This is also a key metric in how most publishers generate revenue, so we take the accounting of pageviews extremely seriously. To that end, we have auditing processes where we cross-check various systems making sure everything is consistent. If you see a credit, it is because we discovered an over-count of pageviews, and we are refunding the full amount that we charged for those extra pageviews.

This happens very rarely, but when it does we want you to know that you can trust us to do the right thing. If you're ever concerned or confused, just ask!
